West Tuning

Post by R8GXR » Sun Jul 28, 2013 10:20 pm

As they are literally 10 minutes from me Im thinking to get the car checked and remapped by them. They mention the gear box is also reprogrammed so same sort of offering as the other more mentioned firms on here.
Anyone have any experiance with them?

Can't say I have ever heard them mentioned on here. I would do some research before using them mate, me personally, I would drive to MRC and let the masters do it

I remember when my car was on the rollers and Mihnea showed me all the runs from "tuners" that didn't even make standard power.

Dont know them. Do they use their own program or buy it in from elsewhere? Its good they modify the gearbox though and a sign they know what they're doing....

Never ever heard of them. I am not actually one for being a sheep but when it comes to things like remapping, I stick with the big names and it hasn't bitten me on the backside yet....

I'd check to see whose remap they use first, is it a custom one created by them or is it a brand name they 'bought in' .
If its a custom one, why haven't we heard about it on here before, if its a brand one , depend whose it is depends if its any good or reliable .
Id be more concerned with whose g/box remap they use than the engine one.
they could be a top job firm, but as we are talking slightly specialist ( not your average run of the mill car) , it wont hurt to ask all the right questions first.

Hahahahahahahahahahahaha, yes, because the standard ones don't eat bits at all.............

What has mine eaten so far, ah yes, pretty well nothing. Gearbox will pop at some point, room of care on that one.
