Nav screen not going and need new discs :(

Hi all, my stereo screen is just black still plays CDs and radio goes any ideas guys? Also need some new rear discs but gesso they're expensive haha yous guys any sponsors ect on here on deals'? Many thanks

Sounds like your RNS-D is dead. Never heard of a screen problem like that. The good news is that they are pretty cheap to replace from people upgrading.

As for the disks, I bought some Zimmerman disks for mine. Good kit and about 400 Euros from Germany for a pair. I posted about it on here. Do a search for Zimmerman or Zimmermann can't remember which.

Have you accidentally pressed the display button? IIRC you can turn the display off.

Euro car parts are the place to buy at the moment. I put a set of cross drilled Pagid discs on the front for under £400 recently, and you'll get the same for the rear for around £350.

Free delivery too ;)

a got rear plain today cause they couldnt get the drilled for 3 weeks £174 each which a thought was real good

phoned euro carparts to day about some rear cross drilled as non showing in stock apart from the right hand side, they have no dates for availaibility for the left ones and they out of stock for the plain ones..again no dates..

plenty of fronts though..

How about asking Footlong if he still has his old discs. Think they are in good condition.

...OEM RS6 are 12.06 kg – LOBA RS6 8.7 kg so a total saving on a pair 6.72kg
Removes 6.72 kg (14.81 lbs) of unsprung weight from the front axle, increasing braking performance, and improving handling.


But, theyre prob a bit more expensive :D
