N. Ireland servicing

Hi,

Any members here from N. Ireland? I need to get my car serviced in the New Year and don't really fancy paying Audi to do it if there is a good trusted specialist about. Where would you recommend getting a service from?

Thanks.

Im from Belfast. I got mine serviced in 2011 at Agnews just after I got it, it was expensive and I wouldnt get it done there again. I have used independents down in Dublin (where I work) since.

I would seriously suggest getting to Dublin and Liverpool for Unit 20. ( Wirral)
I do the round trip from Glasgow and have never felt the outlay on time/petrol was misspent.

So anyone able to give me details of a specialist in Ireland able to service an RS6 or is Unit20 my best bet?

If I had the time I would go to unit 20, but I just dont get enough hols to justify a weekday trip. The last service I did myself under a mechanics supervision, and the place that did it before has gone out of business so cant really help ya out with a recommendation. There are a fair few RS4's kicking about up North, I'd say if you asked on the likes of reallymeansounds.com one of those owners could recommend someone who knows their way round RS Audi's?

Emailed Agnew's Audi for a price for servicing, I new it was going to be a bit expensive but I could pay for a return ferry to Liverpool drive to Unit 20, pay for the service and I would still have change out of the price Agnew's want.

Sweegie, where do you get yours serviced? A for Audi, or somewhere else?

I'm doing all the work on the car myself at the moment... But after the pain and suffering of a gearbox service and horrors of swapping an oil cooler pipe yesterday, i may reconsider

Star performance or A4Audi would be top of my list if i needed anything I couldn't tackle myself though. What about you Gingertoss?

Do you have a number for Star performance or A4Audi?

Sure, you can find them here:

Star would be my #1 choice up here, but they're over on the east coast & about an hour drive for me...
