I am so pleased I sold my C6 V10 as the C5 is such a beauty to own .... but the thought of changing to a V10 S6 is a joke.

No wonder the 2007 model is up for sale around £20k. They drive like a bowl of porridge.

I don't find my C5 running bills too high. One has to remember that the C5 has super car performance & a few thousand £££ a year should be expected.
If you need cheaper running costs get an RS Skoda / Vectra / Mondeo / ...

Nup, get a mail-order bride, much cheaper.

Put a Milltek resonated on her, some GY F1 asym high heels, PSS9 leg upgrade, K&N panel filter, replace her 'box for a zero mile OEM and keep her knobbly bits. But if she leaves the kitchen, tell her you'll blacken the grill.

Meh, I meant res, I'm keeping with the chauvinistic theme here, I don't want her talking. I'd read somewhere that the perfect woman had no vocal cords and breasts on her back.
That said, I think maybe a Miltek with loud 'flaps' for the bedroom deserves some thought.

My mate works for an IT firm that does the same, they have everyone churn through cars every twelve weeks, a strange lease thing which in theory keeps costs down.

Although for him, its a right royal pain the the ... as he struggles to keep track of the thousands of thule roof bar fittings needed to carry his canoes.

B6 S4 vs C5 RS6

No gearbox issue
No DRC
More reliable?

Similar thirst
Decent V8 S4 for £8k

but RS6 has brute power and smiles.....
