I went from a 2003 C5 RS6 to 2007 S8 for 2 years I'm now back with a 2004 plus. I can say that the S8 was a great car (cabin quality, lots of toys, superb engine were the +ves) however, the standard gearbox set up is pants and needs remapping so it can be used to brake the engine RS6 style and use 1st gear for more than 10 yards and also the standard exhaust is very muted. You certainly get a lot of car for your £'s with an S8 and rarity value but in the end I just missed the out and out power and handling of the RS6 but have to admit to missing the cabin quality and toys on the S8
Currently floating along in a 2020 Magnetic Grey Bentley Continental GT & bouncing around in a Navarro S3 black edition
2009 C6 Avant NR Milly, MRC Stage 2/gearbox, MTM 21'' bimotos, H&R arb's, KW coil overs, 756ps & 1085 Nm (now in Simon’s safe hands)
C5 RS6+ No 315 in Metallic Silver (gone but never to be forgotten)
S8 V10 awesome engine but taxi-like gearbox - had to get back to RS motoring
C5 RS6 in Avus Silver - the 1st RS experience
