I might be going for the C6 brake upgrade, so if anyone wants the ones I ordered recently, let me know. Unopened; and I'll knock a bit off.

I'm having mine fitted on Tuesday - there's still a lot of life in my current ones, but a wire has broken on the wear sensor on one pad, meaning the car is bleating at me everytime I go round a corner, and the dash is lit up in red like a hellish Christmas tree. Don't you hate it when your car is too clever for its own good?!?

For anyone who fittd these any feedback onwhether there were any issues fitting or performance of them once used?

I am sure mine need doing soon and if I can save any pennies the better
Cheers

Virdee is selling some cheap Pagids (OEM) in the classified section.

Thanks will take a look - whats the general consensus on Pagid vs alternative aftermarket. I kno Pagid are OEM but Mintex, EBC are as good as any?

Or am I missing something?

Dunno. I think pagid are quite good, but I don't like the way the metal studs start destroying the disks before the pads are half worn down.

I bought the mintex but haven't had time to install them yet. What's everyone else's view?

I'm not hearing very good things about the EBC yellow stuff;

Not for an RS6, but some feedback for anyone else thinking of buying after I read this thread and ordered - they arrived quickly, within three days, Mintex boxed with hologram seal. Sorted!

I meant to post back sooner once these were fitted - they do the job well. I've nothing to compare them too, as I bought the car with Mintex pads on already. The only thing that springs to mind is that there's a 'graunchy' noise as the car comes to a stop, nothing major, but I've heard the Pagids don't do this. Not worth the extra pennies to stop it happening imho - I plan on replacing these pads with more of the same when they wear out.
