Cheap brake pads ! Anyone using these.
I might be going for the C6 brake upgrade, so if anyone wants the ones I ordered recently, let me know. Unopened; and I'll knock a bit off.

I'm having mine fitted on Tuesday - there's still a lot of life in my current ones, but a wire has broken on the wear sensor on one pad, meaning the car is bleating at me everytime I go round a corner, and the dash is lit up in red like a hellish Christmas tree. Don't you hate it when your car is too clever for its own good?!?
Virdee is selling some cheap Pagids (OEM) in the classified section.

Dunno. I think pagid are quite good, but I don't like the way the metal studs start destroying the disks before the pads are half worn down.
I bought the mintex but haven't had time to install them yet. What's everyone else's view?
I'm not hearing very good things about the EBC yellow stuff;

I meant to post back sooner once these were fitted - they do the job well. I've nothing to compare them too, as I bought the car with Mintex pads on already. The only thing that springs to mind is that there's a 'graunchy' noise as the car comes to a stop, nothing major, but I've heard the Pagids don't do this. Not worth the extra pennies to stop it happening imho - I plan on replacing these pads with more of the same when they wear out.
