Fumes an issue for me - but going back to cats and loosing some of the power.... I'm equally not so keen on.
Not sure what to do...

More I drive the car- the more I love it's power. Couldn't go back to stock plus

He means the 20-30 BHP he has gained from having catless downpipes, he would loose it if he went back to cats.

Just getting back to this gent's and tomboy (amanda).
I've started gutting my spare downpipes now ready for saturday morning, but one thing i noticed in the srs thread posted in here, the guy mentioned that he ''re-fit the o2 sensors the same amount of turns back in as they were removed''. Now, i'm swapping the sensors off my old downpipes onto the new gutted pipe's, am i going to have problems here?? I thought they just get put in till the threads bottom out??

Yep, screw them in until they're tight - i've heard of people using spacers to raise the post cat sensor out of the exhaust stream to help fool it with emmissions, but i personally think this is a pile of crock... Pre (main) cat sensor should be screwed in all the way :)

Yeah, I'm not sure about why those spacers would work. Get a smoother 'average' maybe...

Could be Shopp - i know folk use R/C networks inline with the post cat o2 sensor when they've removed the cat... Presumably to smooth out the signal.

Still, would always advocate screwing the o2 sensor in tight - dont want uber hot gas escaping from there please!!
