Intercooler repair
Re: Intercooler repair
My current thoughts on Wagners. I've driven an RS 6 with Wagner intercoolers and there is no difference in sound/noise or performance between an RS6 with or without Wagners that I could feel. I've also had three runs with Simon on here down a 1/4 mile. His car has exactly the same mods as mine and is also MRC tuned except he has Wagners. We were neck and neck on our runs and I actually ended up with a slightly better time. So, to me, they aren't worth the money as I would be gutted to have spent £2k fitted (don't quote me but I believe that is the going rate) to not feel any difference, but then again, I'd also be quite annoyed having to repair the OEM ones every year too. I appreciate the Wagners are great quality, but my belief is only buy these with the intention that you are getting increased reliability, not performance/noise etc...Lets hope my U20 repaired ones last another year (done last year) and I'll be very pleased with my decision to have had mine repaired.

Re: Intercooler repair
That's exactly why I bought mine, Amar. Reliability. It was obvious to me that there would be no performance gains without significant other mods.
I paid less than a grand for mine. That was less than I could have bought the OE ones for.

I would be getting it fixed by a local garage.
I'm not (hopeless that is)

You buy the bits and I'll fit them if you want ?
