You guys are lucky getting warranty at all - go for it.

Nothing here in Germany for these kind of cars once they're 3 years old and out of manufacturers warranty.
Might be an autobahn abuse thing 8) My repair bills are close to five digit euros year after year....

I asked the WD chap why they had previously stopped and he said that the previous underwriter was getting far too strict on particular high performance cars; RS6, AMG etc. They had to change as many of their long term customers were leaving in droves.

My policy cost £710 + £60 inspection fee which provides the premium policy and covers everything at high risk; DRC, gearbox, turbos etc. It even covers some wear and tear items for the first 90 days.
excellent, my all component runs out on 28th of this month and I was weighing up what to do next. From reading on here WD seem to be the best independant after an audi warranty. Have you had a WD policy before?

Mine is booked in with MRC tomorrow for them to give it the once over and if anything needs looking at will take it to audi to sort before the warranty runs out.

Just taken out a policy with Warranty Direct, seems very comprehensive and I took the premium package which covers DRC. Labour is covered 100% and you can take it to a specialist of your choice for servicing warranty work etc. Another bonus is that they pay the garage upfront rather than you having to pay and then claim it back from them.

All this for the princely sum of £750 in comparison to the £2750 that Audi wanted to charge me for named component.
