I have exactly the same problem with my RS6 and the dealer recons they reset the system using their computer- what they actually did was fail to spot what I guess is that one of the sensors needs a new battery and in addition reset my DIS so that it no longer displays the radio from my RNS-e which was retrofitted- I do sometimes wonder just how expert these dealers ever get since the rs was in production for only 2- 3 years but I am now going to have to waste my time explaining to the service department how they should do their job- mind you I do charge £350/hour for my time so they had better listen andunderstand quickly otherwsie they will be giving me money back!!!

Fecking Tyre Pressure Monitor!!
RE: And another thing to watch
Took car to dealers and they had a look and 20mins later it was all fixed. Didn't charge anything either, apparently one of the sensors or valves was loose and they just needed to tighten it.
Re: And another thing to watch
if they go off the vehicle details, as loaded, the rns-e won't be there. a triumph of process over common sense. a bit like the legal process actually...jonathanb wrote:I have exactly the same problem with my RS6 and the dealer recons they reset the system using their computer- what they actually did was fail to spot what I guess is that one of the sensors needs a new battery and in addition reset my DIS so that it no longer displays the radio from my RNS-e which was retrofitted- I do sometimes wonder just how expert these dealers ever get since the rs was in production for only 2- 3 years but I am now going to have to waste my time explaining to the service department how they should do their job- mind you I do charge £350/hour for my time so they had better listen andunderstand quickly otherwsie they will be giving me money back!!!
