im having my front bumper, rear bumper and side skirts and some black touches painted on mine can't wait!

I hope you are satisfied with the finished product. I desperately avoid anything that involves spraying because I am always disappointed by the results, even when done by the "best of the best". Maybe I am just unlucky.

I know what you mean but I had no choice, I had some patchey laquer peel on the rear arches and bumpers so it was a case of do I leave it get to worse over the winter or do I go the whole hog and get it sorted before rust sets in?..................so I chose the later .

FWIW I think you are doing the right thing getting a complete respray. It's the only way to ensure good colour match. My guy is good and uses spectrometers, and stuff, but I am always undecided whether the colour match is perfect or not... Having said that, I saw a mismatched bumper on a brand new Volvo V40 in the showroom the other day. No miles on the clock. I guess they can have accidents, even at the factory.

I will let you know when I pick her up and can get better close up look. Mind you they did my q7 and did a really good job.

AFAIK everything was taken apart on the bumpers but if thats the case and they have been left in they will have to redo...................I will check tomorrow!
