Torgue... what's torgue?

I reckon it'd be harder to park with her Panda head on.

Shop - can you elaborate for us mere mortals what this TCU upgrade consists of? i.e does it lengthen the ratio's or shorten them or what exactly? At the moment Im really struggling with the box and how to get the best from it. In manual mode its not to bad but of course you have to anticipate the delay all the time... I just think it has far to many changes from to few gear selections and at low speed its a dog! If £100 gets you a decent improvement Im up for that. If it wasnt for the gearbox on this thing Id love the car a lot more.

Cheers

It can't lengthen ratios, it's just software and magic. Shift points etc.

I can only confirm what many other owners in the UK and USA have said about the MTM TCU upgrade. It is IMHO and experience, a 'must have 'for the C5 RS6.

Right that's it footlong/bam and Shop I am now going to have to get my whip out and sort you boys out!!!!! I hope you lot like PAIN!! :assflash:

Car spaces are way way too small for proper cars so I always try if possible to sit in the middle of two spaces ..........I value my brushed aluminium wing mirrors and special rs6 body panels that other cars seem to park way too close to!!!!
And yes there is a conspiracy of moving white lines!!! :bigwave:
Ohh Amar she has 950 nm torque at 3000 rpms ......or 710lbs per foot!! Which ever you prefer :bigblink: I am sure you will see that in 3 wks ohh and she has had the gearbox mod as well :beerchug:
950 nm torque!

Ohh running bridgestones because they are the best ;)

While I enjoy a damn good spanking as much as the next man, my tolerance for pain pails in comparison to your gearbox's.

I have it but I drove my car so little before letting the modding fairies loose on her that I stuggle to remember what it was like before. The only thing I notice is being able to put it in 5th at 30 or so, which I rarely do. I am too busy planting the loud pedal far too often to pay attention to what the box is doing, I just want it to do it as well/quickly as possible. I have to admit that I never use manual on it, I just use dropdown on the pedal .

Point two, FIX YOUR SIGNATURE. You may think you're in a Kafka novel but you're coming across like a character in a Mister Men book.

I think it's them crap tyre's you've got amanda. There's so little grip that you just slide everywhere when trying to park!

Audi S3, S4 V8 avant.
Porsche Macan Turbo.

MRC are doing mine at the end of the month, I don't like the way the current stock TCU map is and know its characteristics well on the same journey I take Mon - Fri so will report back, I have driven a Viper TCU'd/mapped RS6, but all I did was put my foot into the carpet as hard as I could, it did 5th at 30 mph though...

Amanda, you made two mistakes with your '6.

1. 95 Ron
2. Bridgestones

Your car must feel as underappreciated as Mev's mum yesterday (mothers day) every time you put the cheap fuel and inferior tyres on it. Then as confused as a TTRS convertible owner when you lavish it with Lobas. Anyway, it will be good to put our cars against each other in Germany (videos for the rest of course) and see what difference the Loba's make. I cannot wait to see the flames out of your car, will look pure evil.
