The Shop I went to (biggest box specialist in holland) overhauled the box and fitted a new TC for 3300 euros ex VAT including getting it out and back in. I think around 3-3.5K pounds is ballpark. You can also get a refurbed box from ZF for a little bit more.
B7 RS4 saloon Misano red, comfy seats, JHM tune & JHM full exhaust with cats and resonators - gone.
C5 RS6 Avant Daytona/Cognac - gone.

Don't worry about it, if you worry about things that can cost money on the RS6 you won't have time to enjoy it :mrgreen:

Wise words my friend......as a regular viewer of this site......paranoia is the watch word!!
The RS6 is without doubt the best drivers car I have ever owned..............and if it costs you the price of a summer holiday now and again its a small price to pay
