Actually David, I've had it up to the neck with Audi and I've only had the car since xmas. As Grizz said, if it's the type of sump leak that EVERY '6 has then I'd let it go on advice. MRC gave it a health check four days prior to service and they didn't comment, I think Cambaudi have overreacted by doing the sump leak (just my opinion). Out of Warranty, if it did require work then it wouldn't be done at Audi, thus saving me a million pounds per hour... so that leaves me with the DRC and the intercoolers. In this case I'd upgrade both (blists coilies and probably Wagner 230 x 105 x 255 intercooler). This sounds like a chunk of change (£1200 + €1600) but the Audi warranty is heading north of £2400 these days and I'd end up wiht better kit.davidkoulakis wrote:Bam Bam- one word, WARRANTY !!
This sounds like lunacy but I can't wait to be free from the warranty, it feels like big brother telling me what I can have on it. I'm constantly thinking about not upsetting the warranty!
No doubt a trans failure will bring me crashing back down to earth, not a lot I can do about that though, just keep the trannie flushed and services as much as possible and save for that rainy day, innit.

I see where your coming from though, you'll be free to service it wherever you want thus saving you a couple of ££ and no mileage limit
I do wonder if its not possible to get bespoke insurance for gearbox failure on the RS 6, they do say you can insure everything !

We should start a mutual insurance fund.
