You just have to be brave and pull them straight back and out.
No twisting.

Paul, I had the same problem but (with a fight) they do pull out without twisting. Pliers are needed, but make sure you grab the bulb holder and not the wires.

I got my bulbs today, the holders came out no probs (tough fingers) but theres no way the new LED's will fit in the side light hole?

Even if it had hair round it they wouldn't fit in this hole!

Have I bought the same as everyone else? these are the ones I ordered and recieved: 501/194/T10 New Mini Light Tower 15 Leds Xenon White (110L) Larg

I even tried filling the edges down with a needle file but still they wouldn't fit in can someone have a look and confirm which are the correct ones to get please.

Cheers johnny11 but I'm banned from e-bay because of bl**dy Nigerian scammers so can't buy from there.

I think I should have bought these from ultraleds.co.uk - The Ultimate II 501/T10/194 1 x 1 Watt Ultra Xenon White 40% +
