As said also check the rubber grommets are in the inlet manifold where the to pins on the air box fit into. These help hold the back of the air box down.
The other problem I had was the wiring loom had been removed at some stage and not refitted correctly. This was stopping the air box sitting all the way down.

...it seems i cant find the rear koni shocks which are out of production (koni 82-2526sport)
Ive seen the ST X coilovers (budget part of KW) are available for the S6 C5, but not sure if these fit the RS?
The konis arent listed as suitable for the RS6, but they do...

I cant find the FK Silverline X either (height adjustable with koni shocks).

It seems even on eBay the koni sport rear shocks arent available.
They all say numerous available, but when i ask them, they cant get hold of them.

It is koni 82-2526sport (2×)

Maybe someone over here has a contact who has them in stock and from which i can buy them?

I just came across AP coilovers (also made especially for the RS6 C5), they seem to come from the KW factory.
They do look very similar to the KW's V1.
From what ive read the AP's are galvanized zink plated, where the KW's are stainless steel, which would explain the price difference.
Anyone have experience with those? Quality and ride?
