Mark-RS
11k per year beat me.
Mine is a dd and between mot,s average 8 to 10k per year.
Just sailed thro mot with no advisories. Not bad for a 17 year old car. But then I have spent a lot over the last few years.
Thinking about it never spent as much maintaining a car before.
But then never enjoyed a car as much before.
Hope unit 20 is up and running soon ?

Is Unit 20 cheaper than MRC ?

I've only ever been to MRC since my ownership other than locals for discs/Pads etc so have nothing really to base it against ?

Mark. Only time my car has been to mrc was for a stage 1 remap. So don’t really know cost comparison for servicing via unit 20.
Only know that I am very very happy with work I have had done at unit 20.
So basically I won’t go anywhere else even tho it’s a 350 mile round trip and usually a nights stay over.
Have tried local garages but that’s has caused me so many problems with poor workmanship.
Have taken the advice from this site. Car needs to go to a garage that knows the RS6.
I know mrc have a good reputation.
But for me unit 20 is my preference.

I ask as heard a few times recently that Unit 20 are far better for servicing and their customer service is also a lot better.

Mine was mapped at MRC shortly after I bought it and I just got them to fix all the bits that needed fixing at the same time.

Seems like MRC for mapping, but Unit 20 for maintenance from what I can gather.

Hi mark. Unit 20 did a lot of work on my car last year. I was there for 3 days. Martin (grizz) and the lads bent over backwards to put right was others had fecked up.
Customer service is impeccable.
Knowledge and workmanship is fantastic.
I have the “ no one else is touching my car “ attitude towards garages working on my car.
And if your very happy with something why would you change and take a risk.
