Erm excusr me but how did you go from an atf leak to a 2.5k bill for radiators and lines, while the coolant level is ok?

based on the info here, this just doesn't add up imo...

I'm a bit worried now as I was on the verge of booking in my RS6 in A4Audi for its cambelt service and be presented with a myriad of items that 'need looking at' and 'while we're at it, it may be worth sorting'

Before you know it an £800 cambelt service has tripled in cost.

+1 to sweegie above. It seems like a box changers attitude to your leak. He doesn't know quite where the leak is so the solution is change everything. As your car is there he probably thinks he has you by the dangly bits. Combined with the other unfortunate 6 owners experience I would be thinking about a second opinion!
Current:
2004 RS6 Avant, 1999 Range Rover, 2008 Iveco Daily (faster than the 6 hands down)
Past:
2008 Jaguar XK, 2006 S4 Avant, 2009 Mini Cooper S (Wifey's daily drive)

I have heard good things about a4audi grip, i think the issue is exactly the same as yours, you have a figure in your head and bang its double or triple. Andy @ A4Audi, did say that there were only a couple of things that needed done for it's MOT, as in discs, a tyre, window reg, and put through, so I can' really see him charging me anything close to the £5k he initially indicated, this was to get 3 pages of faults rectified, and included oil cooler change, however a certain Guardian RS6 Angel has saved me, and is willing to go over my car with recommendations and some spare time, but don't be put off, he is good, I just don't agree with him completely, and I'm in aposition to start tackling certain jobs with the guidance of everyone on here.....all is good :kissmyrings:
God is the only one to judge me, as he's the only one that can keep up!!!
If in doubt.....Flat Out--tribute to the late great Colin McRae

turns out In Stock doesn't really mean In Stock - nor is there any indication of when it might be in stock other than "check back in one or two weeks"... Their web systems and warehouse systems are not linked. :( Great price though.

PM if interested. Odd, mister-auto are normally quite good.

I might be able to source a Valeo one from a different place, though. PM if interested.
