I am having the original factory cambelt changed for the first time! Will also be going on the dyno, sadly before the service though! Would have been better if I could have got it serviced before the dyno.

Just got insured fully comp, think I'm going to cry. Bare in mind this is only 10 months with a £1,000 excess. :(

Still got to pay Grizz tomorrow too! Not got much choice DK. It is actually going to be £2,064 in the end. For some reason my debit card kept getting declined even though I have more then enough in the bank, so I had to leave a deposit today on my credit card and have 14 days to pay the remainder on my debit card after speaking to the bank. This is what it would cost if I paid monthly which I'm not going to as its 23% APR. Can only assume lloyds got suspicious and blocked the transaction or something. Will pay all in one go tomorrow after speaking to Lloyds.

Hey Amar, what's it like to be entered from behind... by a horse... with zero lube... and a load of beach sand stuck in your bum crack? I've never really wanted to hear what it's like but since you're the only person I've known it happen to, I just thought I'd ask.

Suck it up mate, dreams aren't cheap. Powerful petrol engines aren't long for this world and you'll kick yourself if you miss the chance(s) to own one/some.
No matter where you go, there you are.

That summed it up nicely BamBam

I don't think £2k is that bad, I know the guy who bought Ecains car who's about 35 is paying £2k, but he does live in Leeds. When I'm 35 the insurance will be around £500 quid, I live in 'Royal' Leamington Spa dontchya know? Postcode makes a huge difference. Going to be able to enjoy the car fully from tomorrow for the first time, no boost leaks, overdue services or cambelts 3/4 tank of Tesco 99 when I dropped it off, I now have fully comp insurance and a thumbs up from Martin. Just warranty to pay for, but that can wait a month (famous last words).

That Is incredible price!!!!!!!!! Why so much? Is it because of mods?? I only pay £680 fully comp with the misses on it and we are only 25 years old. I know what you going to say. No women allowed near these cars lol.

I've got my sister on it who is 31 and a probation officer, it did bring it down a lot. I'm 21 hence the high price. She is actually going to borrow it to help a colleague move house but she did buy me the private plate I wanted for my birthday so I can't exactly say no, plus she knows if she bends it, she mends it.
