Craig.
Although the drivers window regulator is fully working, every now and again it rattles which is noticeable when I am driving. I just hate any noises like squeaks and rattles.
The noise disappears if I place my hand against the glass.

Hopefully this will vanish with the fitting of the new regulator.

Ps Audi Traditions delivery to the UK is crap since Brexit.

Pps. The pump was not in stock or so I was told. It is on special order.
Plus I ordered it first week of the month. Order wasn’t sent to A T until the last week of the month.
All of this has meant delivery delays.

Wonder if that's why my driver's door is making an annoying rattle as well...

Suz. When I had the nearside regulator replaced I noticed a clunk every time the passenger door was closed.

The garage informed me of the aftermarket alarm module inside the door panel. Saying it must of come loose.

The car was booked in for the crank position sensor so I asked them to sort this out at the same time.
On the day I stayed with the car.
When the door card was removed we found a wing mirror glass tucked inside the door panel

Mechanics response was “I wondered where that had gone, been looking all over for it”.

No harm done so we laughed it off and I wasn’t charged for the door work.

Collected the car. Drove down the road. Check engine light came on.
Straight back to garage. Ran a diagnostic check.
Now have a fuel pressure regulation control difference error.
Occasional Whirring sound similar to that from my original pump.
And jumping revs.
I guess the second hand pump isn’t very good.

Only wanted it to last 4-5 weeks.

I think this is the error code Ben.

Will go and do a diagnostic now. However when the garage performed a reset. The check engine light didn’t re appear.
But the car is still jumpy.

I am in a bad place at the moment. The wife is giving me grief for not drying the knife I used for my toast.

So the air is blue in this household at the moment.

Who the flux rants and raves over leaving a single clean knife in the draining basket.

Hi Steve

Sorry you’re down on your luck at the moment. If you need something from Audi Tradition, I am happy to order for you after payment and forward the package to you. I am admin in 3 C5 and RS6 groups on Facebook and I’ve made some friends that I provide this service to. I have also marked the parcels as gift with a value which comes under the value for import duty and tax. Of course I don’t do this for free and often I need to buy packaging materials depending on how AT have packed it, often they just throw everything together in a medium size box and the items are in plastic bags. I think a fuel pump would be very well packaged. All I expect is a few beers in return :-)
I have a long reputation in those FB groups which I plan to keep. If this helps you let me know, hope your day gets better soon.

Regards - Craig

Sounds like a good time to send wifey on a cheap spa day with a friend with a working car so you can have some peace!

Suz. Cheap spa day.
I would happily send her to Russia for a year. All expenses paid.

Craig. Many thanks for the offer. I don’t really have any problems with Deutsche Parts. I just wish they had been upfront with delivery dates.
Many thanks mate regards Steve.
