Could just be me , but,
From that picture it doesn't look like its 'only just' happened. As in the 'running in' miles that you've just done.
It looks like to much crap has settled on the wet oil/fluid to be less than 3 days old.
The pipe on the right of the 3 pipes looks well corroded and pitted for my liking

Think that's the very definition of Sod's law. Hard luck panda hope you get it sorted.

Nice little earner removing the engine again. Should have been spotted really looking at the pic closer (not really the best on my phone) . I would be arguing this with them cryptic!

It's a pain, but you can swap the rack without engine pull. Dealership probably won't do that since it's not by the book. I had my rack fail a few years ago, pulled engine and put new one in, new one failed in a week, put another one in, fun!

Seems steering rack is in back order and could be 7-10 working days before it arrives!!! Am hoping my dealer will push for it to be quicker though.
