Now let the fun begin!!!
Re: Now let the fun begin!!!
Could just be me , but,
From that picture it doesn't look like its 'only just' happened. As in the 'running in' miles that you've just done.
It looks like to much crap has settled on the wet oil/fluid to be less than 3 days old.
The pipe on the right of the 3 pipes looks well corroded and pitted for my liking

Nice little earner removing the engine again. Should have been spotted really looking at the pic closer (not really the best on my phone) . I would be arguing this with them cryptic!ahoooga wrote:Could just be me , but,

Re: Now let the fun begin!!!
Stealers worth their sh1t would have noticed this before re-installing the engine; I think I would be chewing some complacent ass right now, they really have no right to be pulling the engine again, am actually fr***ing raging on your behalf!chunky79 wrote:That is shocking. Either VERY bad luck or the Stealers have screwed you over. That's not very nice for you cryptic. Actually gutted for you.

It's a pain, but you can swap the rack without engine pull. Dealership probably won't do that since it's not by the book. I had my rack fail a few years ago, pulled engine and put new one in, new one failed in a week, put another one in, fun!

God I love this car..........nothing and I repeat nothing could ever replace her.
I am such a happy bunny, Christmas as soooooo come early for me, bet you don't want to turn her off!
Spare a thought for those of us who'll be without over the festive period......
Seems steering rack is in back order and could be 7-10 working days before it arrives!!! Am hoping my dealer will push for it to be quicker though.
