bam_bam, your perseverance is second-to-none!

Well, that's it, I am not having it. I can't see myself dealing with such a people.

Can someone show me a car which looks like RS6, drives like RS6, sounds like RS6, drinks fuel like RS6, has seats like RS6, BUT IT IS AT LEAST 5 TIMES MORE RELIABLE as RS6?

Their wording for hire car on the WD policy, reads somewhat like this:
- You're allowed to claim up to 250£ ex VAT for a hire car
- You can only claim up to 7 days worth of car hire
- You need to issue a receipt

How it works:
- To claim that 250£ you'd have to hire a car worth £35.71 per day over the full unbroken 7 day period
- When you put in a a receipt equaling a weekends car hire for 250£, they only reimbursed you £104.14

Front bottoms.
No matter where you go, there you are.

Except it's fugly and doesn't have any of the presence of the original RS6. Even in that photo it looks dull.

In a word no warranty direct are <beep>.

I had a turbo go on my car they said they wouldn't pay due to incorrect oil in the engine until I produced the service book showing full main dealer history. even then they would only cover parts and not labour.

Also my mate had a problem with the steering rack on her car main dealer said it was faulty and needed replacing as it could fail causing loss of steering ,warranty direct said no as it had not failed WTF so they would only pay for the rack if it failed. :bash: :bash: :bash:
Currently Mondeo ST155 & Titanium X Sport

Ive heard nothing but bad reports regarding warranty direct. I'm with warranty wise, and they don't seem much better. They recently refused a claim because I'd done very few miles in my car. Most companies will refuse a claim because of excess mileage, warranty wise so far have been the opposite!
I used to own a 6, now I'm just a lurker!

From 3x maybe, 5x for a later example.

I'm sure when they are ~10yr old WD will screw owners too.

It was the amount of time chasing the retards up, missed inspections that in the end taking time off work was costing more than just getting it done. Maybe the answer is two RS6s, one you can drive while the other takes 18 weeks to repair and then swap (!)

Swanny - did you just say 'okay that's fine'? You have to be a ba5tard like Bam to get anywhere with them. I bet if that were me I would have made them pay out. Perseverance. Warrantywise love Twitter, LOVE it, you will have the MD over washing your car if you tweet them of your experience.

The C6 is brilliant and everything an RS should be, rare, wide, crazily quick etc... It also has great tech on it too. I am 100% buying a saloon in the future, 750 BHP is just too good to miss out on. :D

But the OP asked this "Can someone show me a car which looks like RS6, drives like RS6, sounds like RS6, drinks fuel like RS6, has seats like RS6, BUT IT IS AT LEAST 5 TIMES MORE RELIABLE as RS6?" there is only one answer. I'd have a C6 if it weren't so dull, even then I force myself to like the C6 'loon version but my thoughts on that are swayed by the speed, reliability, interior and toys, not the looks. I can't imagine liking it half as much as the C5 when walking back to it after emptying my wallet for fuel.
I really like the looks of the C5 RS6 in 'loon form, I can't get away from it, it's emotive, which is probably why I've spent silly amounts of money trying to make it go like a C6. It's a bit silly really, I should just give up and buy a C6 RS or an RS3 or a B7 RS4 avant, but I really hate giving up.
No matter where you go, there you are.
