it wil murder you in fuel costs, give you many sleepless nights, evertime you hear funny noise you will think the gearbox has gone, your intercoolers will start leaking, turbos may even decide they don't want to work lol.... i've learnt this in less than 6 months lol.

But when it's running right there's nothing like it.

Welcome aboard.

Like a good woman should be!! Moody, tempremental, highly strung and prone the odd leak!! However to get the best from her youve got to climb in at least twice a day and give her a good spanking and then its all damn worth it!! So they tell me any way....

Reminds me of "Swiss Tony"...

Owning an RS6 is, in many ways, like making love to a beautiful woman...

You've got to warm her up, get the lubrication levels right, get inside her, give her a good going over, make here scream and put her away wet!

Sadly you'll find out later that some bloke already gave her a good spraying before you got her.

I finally got her back today and wow does she go now. 504PS on the dyno. The Milltek sounds awesome. The coilovers have certainly tidied up the handling and got rid of a lot of the understeer but they've also started various bits of trim rattling. I guess that's par for the course though.

Thats good power. have you any other mods or just cat back? Think i've been lucky to get 508 with just itg filters as the only ''mod''. either turn the radio up or drop all the windows and nail it, no rattles will be heard.
I'm in need of a milltek or gutted pre-cats for extra rumble

Surely it has a remap too Dunc and to just ITg filters to achieve 508 BHP?

I've just got the cat back for now. When the bill hit £5k I thought it was time to stop and assess before spending any more! I did talk with Chris @ MRC about swapping the downpipes next time I visit and maybe fitting some of the uprated ARBs that many of you seem to have. Those filters sound interesting too, if they're getting you 508BHP on an otherwise stock car.

I haven't used the radio at all since the Milltek was fitted, unsurprisingly.

Sorry, i do have an mrc re-map but don't class that as a mod. I think of it as more of a maturing process
