I bought one of these as well....put it into a local instaler in Aberdeen and he came back to me telling the thing didn't work??.....I got back in touch with the seller and he is adamant these things have a 48 hour test before leaving the factory in....yup China....If you have managed to fit this unit with a good conclusion please let us know...and how hard it was to do yourself

My post below from the A8 forum a while back

I'm not sure how I'm going to own a car now without so many handy features.
There is the solar roof which keeps the fans running so you can just get in on a boiling hot day and not have to open windows etc first, the integrated Audi Bluetooth and the ability to control my phone using the RNS E whilst it's charging out of sight under the armrest is also very useful but I have to say the most useful feature and one I am genuinely going to miss and is worth paying hundreds of pounds for is this. The rear view cam, just to give you an idea of how much more visibility it gives you, I was backing into a space at work and took a picture to compare what you see out the rear view mirror, compared to the cam. (It automatically switches to the rear view cam when you select reverse)

(Need to get the RNS E colour matched to the climate - job for the weekend).

I even had a button in my S8 to electronically retract the rear headrests on out of view, that car was loaded.
