Right guys, it's been quite some time but I have an update. I've been really busy with work and other cr4p so I've only had the odd day on the odd weekend to check the car over.
After changing the DV's, N75, N249, N112, ABS sensor, brake light switch, vacuum hoses, MAF wiring and plugs the car was still running fine but literally no turbos.
With all the cheap options/preventive maintenance done, i finally managed to get it down to Doug at MRC (they're the closest specialists to me, about 50 miles away).
Got there at 8am and at approximately 9.30 I was delivered the bad news

Doug believes the manifold on bank 2 has broken and has caused the turbo to get jammed/damaged. He could hear a ticking/knocking noise (not the loudest) from Bank 2 of the engine and on the roadtest the car ran 0 boost (no wastegate boost), the airflow on bank 1 went up but as the car tried to come to boost bank 2 MAF went to 0 as the air produced on bank 1 exited through the bank 2 MAF.
So he thinks I need a a new manifold and turbo at the very least (best to do both manifolds and turbos).. It's an engine out job so not cheap.
Not sure what to do

Recondition my existing turbos circa £1k minimum?
Repair manifolds? Can this be done?
Get genuine new parts? Not cheap.
Upgrade to more powerful units? More expensive + added costs with intercoolers etc.
Get used parts off a breaker and try to limit the cost.
Not to mention the gearbox occasionally fails to engage in reverse too/thuds in at times...
Is it worth the work? I love the car to bits but does it make sense to fork out thousands on it now. Do I cut my losses now and break her, what are they worth in bits minus the gearbox and turbos? The rest of the car is spot on? What to do.... what to do

Merry Christmas and a Happy new year lol.... :(
