The fairest thing seems to be for the previous months winner to post the current months contest...
Daytona RS6 C5 Avant. Viper'd, Billies, Waggers, MTM box brain, C6 stoppers, xcarlink, R8 coolant cap (woohoo)
///M3 E46 | XC90 (V8, natch) | Passat GTE | RR Classic V8 flapper

I did 315 miles on a full tank this weekend in my C5 RS6, thats motorways at 9# - 10# mph and a bit of town driving it works out to be about 21 - 22 mpg.
I thought that was quite good.

I wonder if i stick to 70 mph what i will get then, on second thoughts nahhh to boring. :FIREdevil: :FIREdevil: :FIREdevil:

All this talk about MPG is FAF. You lot will be getting your cardigans out in a minute and whacking Val Doonacan on your Cd changer.

And before you say it... i know i am now a diesel van driver, but I still only get 250 miles from the tank (old habits die hard) but my goal is less than 200 :D

I'm guessing that'll be a white one then? :)

I regularly make the run from Cheshire to Aberdeen, which is about 450 miles - around town I'll get about 17 - 18mpg, but on the long run I tend to get about 24mpg, my best (or worst, Mooch?) being 26.3mpg. That's all calculated with the 'Road Trip' app, and with V-Bastard in the tank.

Avid golfer loads of trips to Scotland, Ireland And France 4 up has never returned 20mpg!

Will be lucky to see 18 if unless you dawdle alone 60 - 80mph so may as well take a Transit?

Funny thing is they always want to go in mine! :nogarors4:

Mega mile munching machine!

Just followed the wife into town - got 25.1mpg!! I felt bad karma though so on the way home got the average for both journeys down to 19.5mpg to restore the world's equilibrium.

Well trip has been done -and got to say i was surprised with my findings....

Way down from NE to Rye in East Sussex managed to get about (22) 21.8 on Shell V Power, filled up with BP 97 Octane stuff and was round about the same....However on way back up from Sandwich, Kent, to NE Scotland (692 miles) and leaving on a Friday afternoon at 14:00 - the trip was completed 2 stops, filling up with the Total Excellium 97 Octane and squeezed 25 (25.1)mpg out of it...this trip was done and dusted in Friday afternoon traffic round London, and in under 11 hours...all in all wasn't bad - and no problems encountered.

After a wash today - she's looking good again....

ps this was 2 done with 2 of us in car, golf clubs, and large luggage bags...

I was driving on fumes on Saturday and finally found a Shell to fill up with V-Bastard. 5mins later this was peering back at me... yep, that's 145.9p per litre.
My most expensive fill up yet - back of Chelsea somewhere. Cnuts.
