I'm based in Tring, Herts - anyone round my way with a Non- Res or Res I can hear?

All resonators must die! Non-res all the way!

Only a little boomy at ~50mph in 5th gear, easlily cured by... THIRD!

Non-res millteks on all models have boom at 2-3k revs which can get annoying especially under load.
I'd go Res every time.

They are both the same volume @ WOT.

No they dont mine has no boom or drone but then mine is fully decatted

No they dont mine has no boom or drone but then mine is fully decatted

my resonated milteks are just perfect,lovely beefy rumble when pottering about town but quietens up on motorway blasts.I can't stand non res boomy droney exhausts especially when trying to hold a conversation

Non Res is the only way to go. I don't know If the Saloon is insulated differently from the Avant, but I can barely hear mine until I reach 80mph. At which point it just starts to sound sweet. Step on it, and it Roars. I get absolutely no drone below 80mph. And at speeds above 80mph you won't be worried about drone, you will be concentrating on the road I hope. I know I would have been disappointed had I bought the Resonated version. Remember these are RS6's, Super cars to be seen and definitely heard.........................
