Well aside from Audi owning Lamborghini since 1998 and the obvious similarities between Gallardo and R8, no it is not publicized as a collaboration. In fact I think Audi have tried to distance the R8 from Lambo in their marketing.
However the Gallardo has the same controls i.e. stalks, RNS-E nav unit as the R8 (B6 S4 in most cases although the RNS-E is a unique shape to fit the dash monoposto) and they share the same V10 lump albeit in different states of tune.

I'd like to freshen up my front calipers in standard black but dont want to lose the RS decal. Are they stickers or painted on?

I thought the Audi V10 being the same as the Lambo V10 was a myth. Not actually that many parts that are the same. I think that was in relation to the C6 RS6 engine which is indeed a totally different motor.ecain63 wrote:I thought the Audi V10 being the same as the Lambo V10 was a myth. There is still a substantial amount of parts sharing there!
