thought id resurrect this thread as I had to swap my mech out yesterday.
Thought it important to add whilst having the motor out and mech, give the gutters a good clear out. I had enough foliage in there, and bird wouldn't have turned up its beak at using it as a nest, albeit a second nest for its illegitimate offspring that it didn't want all the socially responsible birds to know about..
I only had to remove the ECU cover, but whilst jiggling the whole thing out, I did notice the fuses and relays were somewhat prone to knocking. I also had to take out all the three motor bolts holding it to the mech to allow it to swivel around and come out.
