I wouldnt worry about the number of owners too much. So long as the car has had excellent servicing, lots of loving and good owners it shouldnt make a difference. If the car has good paper history then you will be fully aware of what the car has been through and if the main niggles have been ironed out. These cars were (and in some cases still are) status symbols for execs and well off families and as such were changed like the wind when a new model came along. Its only now that they are becoming affordable to the enthusiast that they are being kept for longer and looked after properly. I am owner number 6 (i think) on mine, and the first 5 were all done by nov 2005. Thats only 2 1/2 years to cram in 5 owners, and 3 of them were women...........they can never make up their minds!!
