The only braking you should be doing when cornering is trail braking but I cant see how this would ever be required in the 6 because trail braking is only used to correct slight understeer when you are on the absolute limit. You would also have to be fairly near the grip limit for the back end to break free in the dry...Im assuming it was dry?

Yeah, obviously braking in a corner isn't ideal, but sometimes you don't have a lot of choice. Definitely dry, and the rear end stepped out a little. I don't think I was near the grip limit, but obviously the braking shifted enough weight to the front of the car for the back to get skittish.

I wouldn`t say at this stage that there is a problem but I would try and recreate the problem and if it does it consistantly in the dry when you are not at or near the grip and not majorly braking then there is a problem somewhere?
