If you've got full audi service history then they'll change it for free...

OK - am a little happier that it may not cost me 1,000s!!

Yes have Full Audi Service History. Do I just need to book it in and tell them its defective or is this a 'case-by-case/depends on the Audi dealership/banging head against a brick wall' 6 year rule or will I definately be covered and Audi should just sort it out for me????
