But if everybody took that attitude then thats how much it would be worth, you have to point the finger in a compassionate way, at the poor bugger who was first forced to sell his pride and joy for £15k, and poke your finger in the eye of the chancer who offered it.

BTW... my car deffinately is NOT for sale... even for £40k.... its too good.

There is a 2003 plate avant in avus over here at the mo (isle of man). It has been for sale for ages i looked at it about 6 months ago and walked away due to the (imo) stoopid price tag of 36K. Ok its got full miltek, coilovers and is remapped to 517bhp, but i thought 36K was a bit rich for that year with 54K miles on clock. To give an idea, i got mine in october, 2003 plate, 55K miles, bog standard and paid 18K for it, i was happy with that, and so was the seller. He did have it up at 19500, but i haggled and dropped the trade in price i wanted for my old merc a bit (300 quid).

I hear what your saying cornish, but people will try sell cars for whatever they see they're worth to them, & realistically thats not what they are worth!
A friend of mine paid £90k for an M6 and was offered £40k for it 1.5yr later, was he bothered...no because he had the cash!

I know a guy whose business partney has just bought a £90k 997 C4s on a 57 plate, 7k miles, fully loaded, for...... wait for it.........£39k, like youi would have commited hari kari

I was looking at M6's yesterday and one 05 plate was going for £28k!! it had 20k worth of extras from new that over 100k new!!!!

I like M5/M6's used to have an e39, what a beast it was. dealers offer peanuts, everyone knows that but that don't seem like a bad deal? What was the M5 up for tho?
