I'm gonna go H&R soon, booking in with grizz and getting rid of the DRC.

Did people notice considerbale improvements in ride and handling with the kit or is it just the same but with added peace of mind?

i went too low to start with, car looked good but the car handled like a greased weasel, i've now raised it up, to just below normal ride height and the difference is very noticeable from standard. Back to happy smile motoring, and enjoying the rs6 as it should be.... H+R isn't as track orientated as say KW, but then again i don't think i need track suspension as i don't intend to go on track, although i can hear the RING calling
It's personal choice at the end of the day which kit to go for, and the piece of mind not having your car in a workshop every 6 month to fix overpriced/under engineer'd suspension.

FYI, the manufacturers KYB don't want to know as "Audi is their customer" not us. Following my e-mail KYB spoke to their local Audi dealer and were told there aren't any issues with the DRC.

I guess we must all be making it up.

Just had a reply from Audi germany after chasing to say nothing to do with them so I've been referred to Uk as importer! Customer service at it's best!! See where we go from here. No response from Watchdog so any help in convincing them of design fault would be appreciated. I'll not be giving up on this as I'm going to see what response I get before going to solicitors, it's a matter of principle, not money.

guys, just register yourself as having DRC issues on the wathcdog website - I think with the RS6 guys we should have 50+...

Its quick and easy - http://www.bbc.co.uk/consumer/tv_and_ra ... port.shtml

name, address then just copy something along the lines of:

"Audi RS4/6 owner - DRC replaced X time(s) at X dealer on X.
car registered in XX/200X."

This should raise some interest in the topic so as to get a call back... we just need as many people to do it as poss...

What harm can it do.. 5 mins of your time...

Even though I haven't had to pay any dosh out getting mine sorted, there was still the inconvenience factor, fuel getting to dealer and back etc. and now possible alignment problems (see other post 'how low to go'). If the DRC system was working right, I doubt I would have forked out the 1600-odd quid to go aftermarket. As it turns out, the H&R coilovers are terrific and I wouldn't want to go back, but that's not the point. I would also like to take this opportunity to say that Fontains Audi have been exemplary in this whole matter and didn't hesitate to offer the H&R as aftermarket replacements under warranty.

I still however filled in the Watchdog form just to add another disgruntled owner into the equation. Like you say, the more the merrier!

Have submitted a complaint form with my story as well... (leaking front shock which Audi Extended Warranty have refused to replace despite multiple attempts) :audibash:
Just booked my car in with Fontains for H&R fitting next Tuesday so I won't have to worry about this again. Elephant have quoted an additional £18 so seems like the sensible option!
