I've had mine for about 1 month. First of all I found it uncomfortable and also my partner. Now after some adjustment it is fine so do persevere. As others have said the trick is to get the seat base at the right angle, the lumbar support adjusted, and also the leg support (pulled out at the front) correctly positioned. I have just been to the South of France and back (to Switzerland) with no problems and my partner who has suffered terrible back problems with other cars and was initially not happy with the seats has no complaints.

Of course the RS6 is also awesome performance-wise, I stopped overtaking other cars aobut 10 years ago but now can do it safely on half thottle. I should add that in France the car seems very well known.. lots of people looking at the car and clearly know what it is.

In summary, the seats are good but need careful adjustment or they can be uncomfortable.

Enjoy! James

Thanks James - I'm glad to hear it isn't just me and that others ahead of me have sorted it out. I think I have also though 1,000 miles of commute a week isn't what the car deserves so I have bought (and not seen yet!) a K-plate 80 SE TDI saloon to do the weekday slog. The 80 SE having the same seats I remember my mate's having that killed me until I got used to them...
