Yeh nice bit of tarmac. Once it was opened the general (uninformed) consensus was that it was a private road therefor police activity was obsolete. Almost laughed my c*ck off one day heading north on it and there was a five (yes 5) car police posse waiting near the last flyover before the final toll just happily doing there worst!
Barstewards....

Practise safe sex & drive a hybrid if you can...
Good to hear your cars sorted Damon; my parts are now in from Germany a couple of weeks early and suspension should now be sorted... looking forward to picking up the car tomorrow.
You can either buy the CD's from Audi (if you want the Audi modifications to show on the Nav system such as dealer location) or you can buy the generic disks a bit cheaper directly.
It does make me laugh when driving on M6 Toll and other new roads as it shows you wizzing across fields and rivers... lets off road!

My DVD has the dealer locations and stuff but they aren't bang up to date either.. I would have expected the DVD nav to know where my mum keeps her pension book never mind where the M6 toll road is.

Ok bait taken
Going on? Mentioned that the jump from owning a TT to an RS6 in terms of parts was extreme. Not unreasonable observation.
I am going to buy a track car, saving me pennies
After buying such an expensive car it has been disappointing to be trailered home twice in the space of 6 weeks. The second time was a) on my wife's 30th birthday and I missed our dinner out b) the problem was caused by an Audi Tech in a previous service cross-threading the bleed nipple but to be told that it might not be covered under warranty and I would have to pay for Audi's mistake. Then to be told the parts are on back order and you may be without your car for 4 weeks.
In those circumstances it doesn't seem unreasonable for me to be a little peeved and think of getting into a different car. I am sure a lot of people would feel the same.
We all get frustrated and say things in the heat of the moment, only to calm down later. Have you never done that Steve?
