Most people have installed it were the cd changer sits in the boot. I'm in South Africka at the mo, so i think you'll have it installed before me. But i'm sure between me and Gollich who has just got one, and probably installing it this weekend, we should be able to over come any niggles on the install.

Finally got it. I have had a look at the fitting instructions and they don't look too bad. However I cannot see any easy way to remove the CD changer. Even if I did I would say that the Phatnoise box with cartridge in place is too deep. Do you have to cut the bracket ? Who is around the Aberdeen area to help?

Specialist car Audi did say they could fit it for 2.5 hours of work (approx) £250!

I fitted my PhatBox in place of the CD changer.

You do need to remove the entire bracket from the car (three or four bolts, IIRC), and cut the vertical plate away so that the PB can be moved back in the bracket. I also redrilled the mounting holes in the bracket. By doing this I could get the PB in place and not have to make any adjustments to the locker lid.

Spoke to Golich the other day and he has'nt got around to fitting it yet but by all acoutns you'll have to drill some extra holes in the bracket to allow the carterage to be flush behind the cover there are some more details on the electrcal forum but no step by step photo's
Still waiting for mine but thats another story see the Electrical forum :x
And i'm still stitting on my backside in South Africka.
