Tesco are only stocking 99 RON in the South East atm

off to Old Trafford tomorrow morning with a fullish tank of 99RON. Will fill her up when empty with normal and run home to see the difference on running and consumption.

My local tesco up here in Doncaster stocks the 99+ unleaded. I've only used it the once and it felt no better or worse than the optimax I usually run on. It's the same price as optimax but the shell station is more handy otherwise I'd probabaly give it a few tankfulls.
Had a custom remap by minhea at MRC a few weeks back and he rates the tesco 99+ highly.
I'm a bit wary of running on 95 octane unleaded so carry a few bottles of millers power plus octane booster just in case.

Don't know if you have seen, but BP have just launched a 102 RON fuel for 'trackday enthusiasts' at 9 locations in the UK (nearest to me is Canning Town on the A13.

Upside is its produced to the same spec as F1 and WRC.

Downside is, £2.42 a litre... :assflash:
