Thats one hell of a colourskinflintcustoms wrote: ↑Fri Oct 11, 2024 6:19 pmPaint correction is worth learning yourself very satisfying, get some old car doors from the scrapper, and get a cheap DA from Amazon, look up Ammo on YouTube some great tutorials, Menzerna products are good. Ceramic, leave that to the pros!

Paint correction is very very satisfying. Not a rocket science but very time consuming. I hope you get the car sorted soon, beautiful machine!

It certainly looks like nogaro blue. Chances are if the paint code is blank on the Sticker then its an Audi exclusive colour.
I had the same with mine. Called Audi and gave them the reg as i was intriguied. They didn't know the colour, told me it was an exclusive colour and they had to contact Audi Germany. They came back to me same day.
Just call Audi, they were very helpful

Its a slow process it was in a bad way when we picked it up but it wasnt expensive and we have refurbished a few audis now, must admit this is an absolute bitch to work on but its a stunner and a keeper, they will only go up in value at the rate they are getting broken.

Nice to see that it's progressing. Viewing on a big screen the paint looks in quite good shape, just a spit and polish and it's be looking great.
By the way you are missing the air vent for the oil cooler. It's job, other than funnelling air to the cooler is that it also hold the ambient air temp sensor. They are a bit tricky to find in one piece these days, so it's worth keeping an eye out for one if you are planning on keeping the car. I'm also looking as mine is missing, so I'll let you know if I find more than one. I'll attache a picture below of what I am referring to.
Yeah I agree, Titanium Grey wheels will look epic with this colour combo

Re: Rs6 Refurb Maf Readings
I replaced the oil cooler and all of the pipes and hoses a while back. New cooling fans and radiator at the same time. That was one cost that I don’t want to replicate in a hurry.
