I think the plumbing could be modified to use the cheaper rad.

Agree with above comments re pricing. Had my belt etc. and radiator replaced a few months ago using all genuine Audi parts although the work was carried out privately by an Audi Master Tech I know. Charged me £30/hour as opposed to £140+vat/hour at the dealer where he works
