Agree about the standard wheels. Look much nicer than the BBS ones (although I still love certain BBS wheels).

Re: Newbie Reporting
beautiful RS6, welcome to the club and may you enjoy it for many, many trouble free miles...
i thought all Plus version cars came standard with the carbon fiber interior, that plastic around the gear lever doesn't look good at all, you could upgrade the trim to CF, otherwise the car looks great...andd a big plus for getting the OEM rims, way better than the BBS, which are good looking ones but not on this car.

Re: Newbie Reporting
I am not sure about the interior trim, but perhaps it's a colour "pack" or something intended for the swiss market. I saw a carbon copy RS6+ (#197 iirc) and it had the exact same trim as mine; I do agree though, it's not the best looking one and I'm not the biggest fan of it. I would have loved to have the piano veneer trim, albeit it looks much better with the pearl white seats.
There are however more pressing issues to address as I slowly and surely detail the car. The exterior is pretty much immaculate and I have nothing much to do, not even swirl marks to correct. The interior however is another story as sometimes the owners can be the very worst car enemies without meaning to be. That's evidenced with the examples below:
Notice the colour "Banding" as they applied some sort of colouring agent in a very lazy lazy way

This is my correction effort on the other side though it needs more work

The crap colouring does get worse on the smoother harder plastics and other places I'm afraid

Re: Newbie Reporting
Someone mentioned plastidip last week, Shopp probably got all excited and searched on here for all posts referencing plastidip.

Re: Newbie Reporting
Notice how my post was asking how well the Plastidip was holding up... 3 years later.

Re: Newbie Reporting
He's yet to reply, may have all peeled off inside a week. It's always been pretty good stuff when I've used it though. Still haven't got round to doing my handles yet though.
Take it the sales have dropped since you're promoting it again

Re: Newbie Reporting
Guys, the plastidip held up quite nicely for 2 years+. It is a good way to go as a fix for the peeling handles. I took it off because I was not satisfied totally with the finish at the edges, where plastic meets alcantara... but that's a problem of my craftsmanship and not of the product.
I haven't got round to redoing it, but I definitely will.
