Can you still use any of the discount codes like hot30 etc on the ECP website as I'd only get the discs and NOT the god awful pads.

Just had a look, and the MAY31 code has finished already !
Talleyman paid £300 for 2 x rears with that code this week , code was 25% off

They are claiming that EVERYTHING online is 50% off now though

2 x rears are now £391.20 !! Strange really , as 2x rears were cheaper with 25% off than 50% off

They make it up as they go along. I just had a look for some rear disks for my M3. The ECP price, with the up to 50% discount was more expensive than buying them from the stealer. Laughable.

Got a mate who owns his own independent garage and uses ECP for a lot of parts.

He has an account with them and is a genuine trader in the car game. I got him to price the same 2 rear discs as an exercise .
The exact same discs that Talleyman paid £300 for this week.

He can get them for £383 inc Vat , He was NOT impressed as an account holding trader that he was only saving £8 over the general public prices.
You should of seen his reaction when i told him about them being £300 earlier in the week :FIREdevil:

Mine were poor from cold and I had to brake much harder than normal to stop (nearly got caught out a few times!), they only bit properly once they got "very" hot (70+ to near stop for example) and then they'd bite fine but once up to temp they squealed like stuck pig. After the previous owner had fitted them I only had them in for about 1000miles before replacing the discs (zimmermann) and pads (ferodo DS2500) and the difference was night and day.

Ah, I'm a grumpy old-before-my-time techo-phobe so unless there's a wink or smile icon at the end of a post to positively identify sarcasm, I see everything posted as a genuine question. Happily, as this board has caught me out quite a few times so far, I should be getting better at catching it before replying!
