Naah. I'm only viewing from a phone screen, but they still look quite different to me. Besides, if the C7 wheel design is as new as the C7 range, then presumably they could only really be bought new (or via a C7 on bricks)...?

Yeah, very rare car though! I saw the Sportmile MRC C7 S6, proper sleeper car.

Yep agreed mate, but a bit too sleeper??
Interior is the same as the RS.
Exterior needs at least a deck, RS 21's and a RS bumper and grill for it to look anywhere near decent.
Then brakes would need to be upgraded, assuming box can cope.
At the moment theyre holding their values really well unlike the previous S6, so perhaps not worth punting in the C6 just yet.
In their 30's and they'd be great vfm and deffo time to move on.

I reckon another 8-12 months just before they come out of warranty.

It would always irk me that there was a better model out there, though. Maybe wrongly.
Daytona RS6 C5 Avant. Viper'd, Billies, Waggers, MTM box brain, C6 stoppers, xcarlink, R8 coolant cap (woohoo)
///M3 E46 | XC90 (V8, natch) | Passat GTE | RR Classic V8 flapper

Yep which is exactly why I havent taken the plunge yet!

C6 RS6 -> C7 S6 would be an upgrade in everything except the badge and slight sacrifice of top end power.
Just gotta keep thinkin of it as a stepping stone before getting the real deal :thumbs:

I think it'd be worthless sticking RS body bits on it. I'd debadge it and get more satisfaction from baiting Fezzas and Porkers. Also, it has a double clutch so in theory it'd be a sweet gearbox to push on with.

I'll put some wheels on my garden shed then spray it Mugello blue! It will look better! That is one sorry RS6, I wonder if he/she actually realises it has odd wheels? :bash:
Should have gone to spec savers!
