Do you have any documentation re: the rebuilt 'box? If so and they're a reputable company you'll have some recourse if there is a problem.

It's a little concerning that you were sold the 6 as "standard" but have since found out it's been modified; un-molested cars of this vintage do tend to sell for a premium over modded cars so was it advertised as standard to get a higher price?

I'm sure Avus is the fastest colour, I think Bam might be able to prove it :bigblink:

Yes two 5 mile straights, probably just long enough to get the RS6 to max speed.

Rebuilt by a local transmission specialist, getting oil changed as I speak in case they used the cheap stuff, though oil very clean coming out hope that's a good sign!
