I can't believe such a beautiful car like that has lasted all these years with that awful fake wood in it!! That would be to of my list, in fact whenver I've looked at an advert for a car with plastic wood inside I don't look any further.
Agree about tyres too. A car like this should have a good set of running shoes not crappy slippers.

A lot of car for the money. Me personally, I would rather have no inserts than the wood. As for the rnsd, I think they look like my first dump of the day, rnse a very pleasing on the eye but stupid money. hat Kenwood did you have in the porker robbo?
I also insist that you rule 1 the porker aswell!!!
At the moment you seem a little better than the last owner, may be a little touchy with reguards to comments made about the car though. We could only go on what has been said by the last owner ( he said it was pretty poor condition) and what has been found on t-net.

He wasn't that touchy, all us miserable geeky ba5tards did was pick faults while the OP was excited about his car. RNS E FTW, feck aftermarket. Doesn't suit a C5 RS 6.

Nice C4, I came from a C2 to the RS6. Primary reason was practicality (3 little kids), but the 6 is so much more. Good move :nodder:

Woosh , arms falling off after a polish..

The car had loads of light swirl marks on it.. the only polish i have ever used that gets rid of them is autoglym deep shine polish, specially developed for dark colours but works on all from my experience..

Oh.. and don't want to give u guys a heart attack, but the wood inserts were I believe put in just 2 years ago when the mods were completed !!! :-) , I think maybe thats the only colour trim they had for the gear stick ? I dunno..

Anyhoo , by the time you get to the bottom of this page I bet your pi55ed of looking at this RS6 lol , took loads of pics from my phone , no more I promise :-) , took a wee video of car too just waiting for it to upload to utube

Robbo, looks in great condition. One thing dick cheese who sold you the car was right about, saying he was going to mint it up!
Please, no more pictures of your wood!
I have been to Fife a few times and Lock Leven, stunning place. Enjoy the car and pull your finger out and post your times. Careful with those drive shafts though :biggrin3:

Not unlike how you like your men. Not 100% sure on the MTM logo either but it is more due to the fact that it doesn't look like it had been aligned as accurately as possibly to mirror the position of the RS6 badge on the other side, symmetry is an OCD must for me.

I noticed the tyres too but decided not to comment as if they do the job for the OP then fair enough. However, the last couple of days have reminded me why I actually have the Pilot Super Sport tyres. When the weather is good, grip grip grip grip with a side order of grip.
