Cheers chaps.

Yes the exhaust hangs slightly which I can rectify myself no probs. Griz replaced 1x rear sensor but colour is slightly off so will think about that one, front passenger side grill is missing which I will sort also.

Aero wipers will be on soon enough!

Car booked in on Monday for a replacement gearbox, as for price, didn't pay a lot tbh!

I remember the face ripping sensation when accelerating when I first got mine. Shame it doesn't last.

Just got in! Car is cracking.

Needs a few things doing to get it upto my standards but to be fair not a lot of people would notice what I would see.

Car goes like a rocket ship and is more than enough for what it's going to be used for.

Car goes into AMD on Monday for gearbox which will cost £3500 but I got big £££ knocked off the car so no probs there.

Monies spent so far....

£3500 gearbox
£1200 full cambelt change & service
£1550 Wagner IC
£500 front discs
£150 front ARB
£120 front CV boots

Thinks that's enough for 1 week ha ha ha.

AMD are doing the cambelt kit for £800 fitted.

They quoted on here £1000 but as the engine is out I haggled a bit.

£400 for the service is a estimate but tbh all the service items are being done when the engine comes out so really it's only a oil change!

Not touching the ARBs just yet, will do that myself. Just want to get all the big jobs out the way so I can enjoy the car without pending bills looming.

This is why I got the car cheap, but that's fine. 13k for a hassle free RS6, won't find many like this for that price at present.

13k including all the work? Did you pull his trousers down or leave them up. Fair play mate.
Cambelt price is pretty good, just waiting on Audi to confirm they can do mine for 1k.
