It's illegal to have the front windows tinted more tan 30% I think? I'm sure the standard tint is already half that.

The police pulled my mate over and made him pull it off on front of them, the gits! His looked good, and he only had a very light tint done.

i like the colour of the MTM Bimoto wheels. Thats the colour i want on my Bimotos.
Think they are 9,5 x 19 without spacers?

Yeah, +1 on thinking that front side windows must let in 70% light. Once the factory tint is factored in, there is little point in having them done.
Overall the car looks really nice ; Daytona/black optics/light interior = :beerchug:
(Really need to 'satin black ' the exhaust tips though)

Good work

Is it me, or do the bumpers look off colour?

ive seen a white q5 done by monster wraps, and wasnt impressed at all, but i guess its all down to the installer/fitter.

as i wanted to do something similar to the chrome trims on my a6.

Well, I think it's improved the car in what you've done,

Loosing the chrome trim is a must, and ditto on the old wood trim inside.

And the bimotos have to be one of my fave wheels, so extra brownie points there,

So all in all it's a thumbs up! :thumb:

To me it doesn't look like there is any tint on the fronts. I have factory tint all round and think it looks better than the drastic difference above.
I did forget to say the wheels like mm mmm nice.

The daytona car I saw before buying mine had this exact problem; the bumper was straight out the spray shop and ended up a good deal darker than the rest of the car. I wonder if something strange happened with the paint mixing formula or pigments making up this particular colour?

Could be Mavada. I know nothing of mixing paints & have no clue how colour matching these things work!

Nice wheels btw

Last time I had some paint done, the guy used a special spectroscope to get the colour just right and mixed the paint in house. He had a whole load of different sized metal flakes, too, and showed me what an astounding difference it makes when you get the colour right but the grain size wrong. Fascinating stuff.

Cool story bro.

/EDIT Whoa! I've just spotted those wind deflectors, they're hanging out like a chavettes tits. I thought in this day 'n' age there'd be something more sleek.
