Shell v power 164.9 today. If this keeps up I think I will be switching to momentum.
She has been on vpower since 2012. Had to use momentum about 2-3 weeks ago. To be fair I didn’t really notice any difference.

The Tesco stuff is just as good. Tbh if Tesco is convenient I’d just as happily go there.

Tesco is just up the road from me.
Shell is quite a distance. But have always used it as a first choice.
Perhaps I should switch for the cost benefit and locality of momentum.

Mine's been on VPower completely as well. I have no idea whether the local tesco has Momentum. The store information just says petrol and diesel which doesn't help. Unless all Tesco fuel stations have it now?

I believe most have it these days. Ever since getting mapped mines always been on it. It was recommended by MRC and I've never used anything else since.

Mark. Mine was mapped at MRC. So I will probably switch to momentum from now on. So much easier for me to fill up as I say. Tesco just down the road. Stuck with shell vpower all these years mainly because of the cleaning properties. But the hike in prices just lately has led to me considering a switch.

When Doug at MRC mapped mine I remember him saying they always had good results with the Momentum

Fired up the old dog last night after abandoning it for the last few... eh... months  (work and house renovation has kept me busy) going to have the exhaust fitted today

It wasnt liking boost very much, quite hesitant but im sure these dont like iffy fuel if i remember right, so 4-6 month old fuel wont be ideal, i stopped in at a Shell to throw £30 of their finest £1.61 a litre...

Just to put this into perspective. 20p difference between momentum and vpower equates to £16.40 difference on a full tank of fuel for 82 litres.
Not too extortionate but enough to make you think about it. I probably fill up every two weeks on average for local driving.

Filled up with vpower (again ) third tank full this week.
Still 164.9 per litre.
Filled to the brim. Range says 365 miles.
If my maths are ok that equates to 20 mpg.
However I do see 6mpg on the readout far too often ?

I’ve been thinking about adding a Peel P50 to the collection. Apparently they only get about 100mpg though.

Matt. No mate think of shopps comment.
Sooner have the fun factor. The rumble of that v8 is soooooo seductive.
That’s why I hardly ever have the radio on.
The downside is that you have to fix all of the squeaks and rattles.
