I can get torque converters refurbed for £200 and that includes a printout where possible of previous faults.

Gearbox removed with ENGINE still in the car from as little as £250 pounds.

Full Gearbox rebuild with new torque converter and new friction material pack for total of £1500.

If you want the number of the garage i will get it for anyone that wants it.

Mind you, to be fair i think the guys in the u s of a can whip the box out in around 4 hours so that price is right. Just need the company to have a good rep and a lot of people will be happy!!

I think we just get robbed with the prices but then again if you buy an RS6 you shouldn't expect things to be cheap.

The prices i am talking about especially the gearbox out one, i am talking from experience!

Even my local Audi only take the box out if they can get away with it, to many things to go wrong if you ask me.

Good to hear. Where abouts in the country are we talking? Just cause we own RS6s doesn't mean we deserve to be robbed! You still haven't said who this company is either.
We are kind of screwed cause Audi say you have to take the engine out to do something when there is no need, yet they then leave the engine in to take the box out when others say it is too awkward.
