I think that the best approach would be one of a)safety - suspension is crucial to the handling and braking of the car; and b)fit for purpose - the suspension has been replaced (n) times and the Audi recommended fix does not fix!; and, possibly c) Audi say there is no problem but there are hundreds of owners with the same problem...
Would anyone like to expand on this?

I justed joined the forum to add me to the list, so far the DRC on my has been replaced twice, first 21K miles, second by prev owner at 42K. Car now at 58K and all 4 shocks leaking and a large bill on the way.

I find the ride shocking and the handling a huge dissapointment, even after a grands worth of new tyres

Regrett ever buying an RS6, had it 6 months covered 2500 miles and the car has spent more in the garage than my S6 did in 3 years covering 55K miles. Not my best car buying decision! This experience has put me of buying another RS audi as the build quality on mine is appauling, I think my 3 year could have built a better car with lego brick, it might well ride better also. Even after trying 3 or 4 other RS6's after buying mine to check weather mine was a duffer and they weren't much better. It is a car I had aspired to and I hoped would be so good and yet I find my self driving my wives diesel CRV or my 16 year old M3 just to avoid driving the RS6.

Whilst my little rant does little to solve my cars problems it has made me feel better, thanks for reading.

I would be tempting, except she is just spouting the company line, she probably dosen't even know an RS6 from a 2CV mate lol.

I asked Richard Starkey to get Jeremy Hicks to contact me in my last email at the beginning of the week due to the fact i was still to get a response from the very first email with the letter from Audi USA attached. Got an automated reply saying he was out of office until today, STILL NO REPLAY FROM HIM @ 12.13am on saturday morning.

He will be getting a phone call monday morning first thing, seen as he put his direct office line in the auto response email (fool, i shall now hound him daily!)

I wonder how many other forums there are for RS users ?

Maybe we should make as many as possible aware of the "Text In" to Watchdog as there are bound to be RS owners who favour other sites (for whatever reason).

The more of us who do this the better the chance of someone taking notice.

I'm only a member of this forum and SRS if anyone out there is a member of any other Audi forums spread the word and put up the number to text to and when to do it !!

Heres what I've posted on SRS.com in the events and gatherings, RS6 and RS4 sections..........

TEXT WATCHDOG ON 30th OF MARCH 19:30 !! DRC ACTION !!

This has got to be worth a shot !!

If as many of us can do this as possible at the same time then it may get some attention.

I've put the date and time into the phone as an alarm to remind me to send in a text and will draft a text out ready to send, that way I dont have to be watching to know when to send it.

Text Watchdog
While the programme is live on air (between 7.30pm and 8pm on Mondays), you can text your comments and thoughts to us. Start your message with the letters WD and send it to 83199. Texts are charged at standard rates.

I should also add that as there are a lot of gripes common to Audis service and customer relations that I would encourage all Audi owners who have had poor service etc to Text in also ...................

Are there any other user groups which might be interested in joining in ?

As I said I dont really do the "social networking" stuff but are there any facebook sites ?

There must be RS6/RS4 owners who have got sick of fixing the DRC who have moved on to other Audi models or different Marques who would be willing to protest even if they no longer have an RS.

Anyone know how many RS6 RS4 models with DRC did Audi sell in the U.K?

I have sent a little e-mail to Audi driver Mag just to point them in this direction as they did a lovely 2 month spread on owning a RS6 which a few members inc me took part in.

Lets see what they can do aswell
